Description
QFIVE produces estimates of infant mortality, child mortality and under-five mortality by applying the two versions of the Brass method described in the Guide: the Trussell version, which is based on the Coale-Demeny model life tables, and the Palloni-Heligman version, based on the United Nations model life tables for developing countries. It contains a detailed guide to software that includes examples of input and output data. It is related to Manuals IV and X and to Model life tables for developing countries.
