The UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign has proclaimed every 25th of the month as “Orange Day” – a day to take action to raise awareness and prevent violence against women and girls. This Orange Day, 25 August 2017, the Campaign focuses on Violence against Women and Girls in Humanitarian Crises.

From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world.
