Contraceptive prevalence and the unmet need for family planning are key indicators for measuring improvements in access to reproductive health. The data set, World Contraceptive Use by Marital Status and Age 2017, includes country-specific estimates of these and other indicators disaggregated by marital status and age, based on survey data available as of July 2017. This work was supported by Grant No. OPP1110679 Making Family Planning Count from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
